Life Painting &
Making Oil Paint Workshop
Saturday & Sunday 17-18 July
- 10am - 4pm
An exciting two day workshop exploring
traditional oil painting techniques.
Working with a limited palette of four
colours (see example above) explore
the fundamentals of making your own
oil paints and painting from a live
model using a series of glazes.

Figure Drawing (long pose)
Sunday 8 August - 10am - 4pm
At last, an opportunity to work on a
figure drawing for a good, long period
of time (four hours). The model will be
clothed so this is also a chance to draw
drapery

Drawing Portraits from Life
(max 3 or 4 students/model)
Sunday 19 September - 10am - 4pm
The big step forward from drawing from
photographs as we do in the art classes
- here is your chance to draw from life.
We have lots of time, and you will have
lots of support. Restricted numbers per
model means that you can get really
close, and get the lighting and angles
well set up without being crowded
